Oman, officially the Sultanate of Oman, is a country on the southeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula in Western Asia and the oldest independent state in the Arab world. Itinerary
Day – 01: MUSCAT-NIZWA -AL HAMRA
0800 hrs: This morning we proceed to Al Hamra.
Nizwa, the capital of the interior, is the birthplace of Islam in the Sultanate of Oman. Nizwa Souq is renowned for its intricately hand-carved “Khanjars” (daggers) & ornamental silver jewellery. Then we depart for Jabrin, the finest of Oman’s castles built in the late 17th century and became a seat of Omani learning. The castle displays the highest achievement in Omani ceiling painting & beautifully executed woodcarvings. While heading for Jebel Shams stop at the terrace farming village of Wadi Ghul.

Day – 02: AL HAMRA - WAHIBA SANDS
0800 hrs: We depart from The View Oman to visit Misfah a pretty mountain village with stone dwellings still in existence. After this depart from Al Hamra for Wahiba Sands, a vast mass of undulating red and white sea of sand Dunes rising up to 200 meters, which are host to a variety of flora and fauna. The ever-changing patterns of the dunes are a photographer’s delight. Visit a Bedouin house in this wilderness. In stark contrast to this is Wadi Bani Khalid. It comprises small pretty villages embedded in the mountains. The Wadi has clear deep blue water. Later Drive back to Desert and enjoy the sunset on the dunes.

Day – 03: WAHIBA SANDS - SUR- MUSCAT
Morning Itinerary: Sunrise Adventures
Option 1:
Sunrise by Camel Start your day with a serene camel ride at 6 AM, journeying through the tranquil desert as the sun rises. Experience the beauty of the dawn, with the golden hues of the sunrise painting the dunes, creating a magical and peaceful atmosphere.
Option 2:
Hot Air Ballooning For a breathtaking aerial view, opt for a hot air balloon ride at 6 AM. Soar above the desert landscape as the sun begins to rise, offering a panoramic view of the stunning scenery below. This unforgettable experience provides a unique perspective of the desert’s vast beauty.

Breakfast at hotel
0800 hrs: Drive to Sur and visit the Fish Jetty and traditional dhow factory. (Dhowfactory is closed on Fridays). Photo stop of Fatah Al Khair a ship which is currently a part of an open-air museum which is dedicated to the shipbuilding lineage of the city of Sur in Oman. Built over 70 years ago, the wooden fishing vessel of Fateh Al Khair has strong historical significance to it. It was brought back to Yemen, restored, and grounded on dry land. The ship is said to be hand-built without any nails, and hand- woven ropes were used to shore up. Visitors are not permitted to climb up the dhow but can get up close to look at the flanks. Visit Al-Ayjah Lighthouse from outside was built by the Portuguese, and in the past, it was a defensive tower, turned into a lighthouse used to guide wooden dhows safely to Lake Tyre. (Photo stop only). Drive onwards and stop at Fins beach for a swim. Our next stop is the Bimah Sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater with blue-green water at the bottom.
Proceed to Wadi Arbayeen which has refreshing deep pools of water set among the date palms. Return to Muscat via Wadi Mazara and check in at your hotel in Muscat.
